Slashgear post review of O2 Palm Pre

Slashgear have posted one of the first reviews of Palm Pre on O2. There’s not a great deal of new reading if you have read any of the Sprint Pre reviews but for those who are interested, read on for a great review by Chris Davies from Slashgear . For European consumers, the Palm Pre has been a long time coming. Announced â€" in CDMA form â€" back in January 2009, with Palm coyly dancing around the matter of a GSM version until its Sprint launch took place in June , the smartphone has even gaine(Click Here to Know More)

EA brings books to Nintendo DS with FLIPS

When it comes to reading books, I'm totally old fashioned: I don't like the Kindle, I don't want to read them on my iPhone, I don't want an audio book. I want the delicious experience of opening a book with a nice hard cover, turning the pages manually, smelling that new (or even better, old) book smell and enjoying everything about the reading experience. I appreciate the new ways to read, but they just aren't my cup of tea. Even though I think that, I have to admit the idea of FLIPS is neat.(Click Here to Know More)

Reviewing the Samsung LE32B450

by Marcia Walsh The Samsung TV LE32B450 is a highly respectable TV, comfortably fitting in the low to mid range of products from Samsung. A 32 inch screen, it provides a great viewing experience for those who do not have a great deal of cash to spend on a home cinema system. With a high quality build, and an abundance of features, it makes it a first-class choice for people who want quality but not to pay a huge amount for it. In general, this particular TV has received favourable reviews fr(Click Here to Know More)

Manic Street Preachers cover Nirvana

Wikipedia Saying I’m excited about tonight’s Manic Street Preachers show at the Phoenix has a whiff of understatement about it. As does that previous sentence. To be clear: I am very excited about this show. Not just because they’re a band I’ve liked/loved through high points and low (and there’ve been some low, yes), or because they’ve unexpectedly put out one of my favourite records of the year in Journal For Plague Lovers , but because I hadn’t expected them to ever tour North Americ(Click Here to Know More)

Oldskool Review: The Mutilator

Ed Jr and his college friends are hanging around the local watering hole lamenting the fact that they have absolutely nothing planned for fall break. But that changes when Ed’s father calls and informs his son that he needs him to go to their beach condo and close it up for the winter. Ed finds the request strange seeing as him and his father have not been on good terms ever since Ed actually killed his mother while cleaning some guns for his dad’s birthday. Treason Against The Planet????!

Paul Krugman in a Op-Ed piece in the New York Times says anyone who voted against the CAP & TAX bill last week committed treason! Treason against the planet!!! What exactly does that mean? If I drive a car, and fail to wash it, am I committing “treason against my car”? Does my car have certain rights above and beyond my own? CompTIA Career Retraining Uncovered

by Jason Kendall The CompTIA A+ training program covers four areas of training; you’re thought of as an A+ achiever once you’ve passed your exams for half of them. This is why it’s usual for colleges to offer only two of the training courses. In reality you will need the teaching in all areas as a lot of employment will be looking for an awareness of each specialist area. It’s not essential to pass exams in all of them, however we’d advise that you learn about all four. Qualifying in CompTIA(Click Here to Know More)

Your Guide To Music On The Web - Part #1

I’m a Web fanatic, I admit. But you probably already knew that… My work environment has been completely web based for years now. The same applies to my music. Like many people, I used to download music from Kazaa or eMule (Yeah, I know some of you still do). Most of the time now, I listen to music on the web and don’t have any need to download it. My laptop benefits the most from this inclination since it’s not weighed down by music files, thus saving me tons of space and virus headaches ((Click Here to Know More)

The not-so-soft bigotry of Amy Goodman

I am so sick of Amy Goodman. We know she doesn't give a damn about Iraq. But Human Rights Watch releases a report on the targeting of Iraq's LGBT community and it's news -- it's news especially if you've never covered the topic before. And she hasn't. In fact, Pacifica Radio ignored the targeting when the New York Times , when the BBC, when ABC news and so many other outlets were reporting on this in April. But Amy Goodman didn't have time and you have to ask yourself how damn sick is New(Click Here to Know More)

AMP3: Zoom Q3 might just be the best mobile audio recorder…

I demand good tech in the gadgets I buy. Generally I get it right, and pick up gadgets that excel in one or many areas - occasionally I get it wrong, and I’ve a cupboard in the office that acts as a tech-graveyard for those items that didn’t fulfill their primary purpose, or perform well overall. The Zoom Q3 I think is going to fall in the former category of great mobile gadgets - it’s basically an awesomely good audio recorder, which happens to double as a pretty decent mini-camcorder too!(Click Here to Know More)

By Jackson Weinheimer March 22, 1963 To really get an understand of how exciting Please Please Me was when it was released in the UK on March 22nd of 1963 you have to think about the kind of music that was being played on the radio at that time. Michael Giltz: DVDs -- "Life On Mars" And Those Clever Brits

I can't help romanticizing the British TV industry. We often see only the best of the best of British telly so it seems remarkably high in quality. Plus, the way their industry developed, many shows only have to produce six or eight episodes at a time, take a break and then -- if they want -- create six more. Take The Office -- one of the best sitcoms of all time, full stop. Using multimedia when trying to reach the wider audiences

Internet marketing in the early days had very little to do with video and audio. In fact, you could quite easily setup a website in less than an hour, get it up and running with content, and begin the journey to placing it up in Google with a few days. Those days are long gone as spammers have infiltrated the indexes of all of the major search engines all over the world. Google has wised up to the fact that this does in fact go on, and developed algorithms that block this activity out. A(Click Here to Know More)

However, I do wonder if I blog less as I tweet more. Today I p(Click Here to Know More)
